An invitation to the heart.
There’s something truly magical about cacao that invites us to slow down, open up, and connect deeply with ourselves and one another.
As a certified Cacao Emissary through The Cacao Ambassador, I hold regular cacao ceremonies in our Nelson community and would love to bring this beautiful ritual to your special celebration.
Whether it’s part of a wedding, a celebration of life, a milestone event, or simply a gathering of loved ones, cacao offers a sacred space for presence, healing, and heartfelt connection.
Through gentle sharing, music, and the loving energy of cacao, we create an experience that nourishes the heart, uplifts the spirit, and honours the richness of life’s journey.

Every ceremony begins with intention.
When we slow down and sip with awareness, we open a doorway to the heart — creating space for wisdom to flow in, for emotions to soften, and for the mind to quiet.
In this gentle space, Mama Cacao guides us inward with warmth and tenderness. She reminds us to feel rather than think, to listen rather than do. When you breathe into your body, you are already in ceremony.
Each sip becomes an act of devotion — a moment of connection with yourself, with the spirit of cacao, and with the love that moves through all things.
Ceremony is an act of gratitude — a way to honour the journey of cacao from seed to cup: the farmers who grow her, the hands that prepare her, and the ancient wisdom that has carried her medicine through generations.
Sitting with cacao invites us to pause, to give thanks, and to remember our connection with the Earth and all who nurture her gifts.

Cacao can be a beautiful companion to any moment that calls for connection.
Whether it’s an intimate pre-wedding gathering, an honouring for a mother-to-be, or a shared pause in the midst of a busy conference — cacao helps us slow down, breathe deeply, and arrive fully in the moment. For bridal parties or hens’ celebrations, a cacao circle can offer a grounding and heart-opening beginning — a time to reflect, to share laughter and intention, and to honour the love that’s about to be celebrated.
For couples, cacao can be woven into the wedding itself — as part of a unity ritual, or a private ceremony shared before or after the big day — creating a sacred moment of presence between two hearts.
For community or professional gatherings, cacao brings a touch of soul and stillness, offering participants a calm, mindful way to connect beyond words.
However it’s shared, the spirit of Mama Cacao meets people where they are — softening, opening, and reminding us that every shared cup is an act of love.
If you feel called to include cacao in your celebration or gathering, I’d love to help you shape something beautiful and heartfelt.

Every cacao ceremony is unique — shaped by the people, the setting, and the intention we hold together.
Ceremonies can be held in your home, at a chosen venue, or outdoors in nature — wherever feels right for your gathering.
I provide all that’s needed for the cacao preparation, altar, and ceremony setup, and will guide you gently through the process from start to finish.A typical ceremony lasts around 60–90 minutes, though this can be adapted to suit your event or timeframe.
Some gatherings include music, meditation, journaling, or sharing circles — others are quiet, spacious, and simple.
We’ll shape it together in a way that feels authentic to you.You don’t need to bring anything except an open heart, comfortable clothing, and a willingness to slow down.
If you wish, you can bring a small item for the altar — something that holds meaning for you, or represents the intention you’d like to set.All cacao used in ceremony is ethically and sustainably sourced, prepared with care and reverence for the farmers, the land, and the long lineage of wisdom behind this sacred plant medicine.
If it resonates with you, I can also incorporate cacao ceremonies into your celebration — a beautiful ritual that invites healing, presence, and community connection.
If you’re unsure whether a cacao ceremony is right for your group or occasion, I’m always happy to talk things through and explore what might feel most aligned.
